Multi-Flavor Chicken  怪味雞



1 whole chicken, or 2-3 chicken breast or thighs, steamed and shredded


2 T. crushed garlic

2 T. chopped green onion

2 T grated ginger

2 T. chopped chilli pepper

2 T. dark red vinegar  鎮江香醋

2 T. soy sauce

2 T. sugar

2 T. chicken powder

2 T. sesame oil


Prepare and mix the ingredients for the sauce.  Just before serving, sprinkle the sauce over the chicken. If you like, you may garnish with ten thousand year duck eggs (皮蛋) , bean sheets (粉皮), peanuts and/or sesame seeds.
